She added that she loves to tour local businesses as one of her goals is business retention.

She and Carr are the two representatives from Fairfield; each city in Solano County has two reps, and the County also has two. The Board also called the "2 x 2 Committee," and is a collaborative effort 1 between local cities and Solano County to address homelessness. The 2x2 meets monthly - the next meeting will be held on June 26 at 6:30 pm at the County Events Center.

Lastly, Councilmember Panduro shared that she was proud to read the proclamation for Pride Month at the pride flag raising on June 1 in front of City Hall and to present it to Will McGarvey, Executive Director of Solano Pride, along with fellow Councilmembers Tonnesen and Williams. She said inclusion matters and that she is proud to support the LGBTQ+ community.

Vice Mayor Bertani thanked volunteers, Fairfield Clergy Action Network (CAN) members, and city staff for assisting with another successful Fresh Food Festival in May at David Weir K-8 Preparatory Academy. They were able to serve 276 households (783 people)! She reported that a town hall meeting would be held June 4 at 6 pm at the Rancho Solano clubhouse regarding forming a Lighting, Landscaping, Maintenance District (LLMD) or other alternatives for the Rancho Solano neighborhood. She urged residents of that area to attend. She reported that another LLMD meeting would be held for the Rolling Hills neighborhood on June 10 at 6 pm at Dunnell Nature Park & Education Center and encouraged residents to attend.

He stated that Townsville City has one of the largest military bases in Australia, is located close to the Great Barrier Reef, and is a thriving commercial center in Northern Australia.

Mayor Moy thanked the Fairfield Fire and all first responders of the Vista Grande fire that occurred on June 2 and burned 62 acres. She also thanked the residents for complying with the evacuation notices and CAL FIRE for their assistance with engines, hand crews, dozers, and aircraft. The fire was contained very quickly. Next, she reported that she and City staff attended Fairfield High School's culinary program feast, "Falcons Grill," where they were treated to delicious food prepared and served by the students. She shared that one of the students will be attending the Culinary Institute of America in Napa County to become a professional chef.
