CITY OF FAIRFIELD
RESOLUTION NO. 2025-117
APPROVING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION FOR LEGAL SERVICES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024- 2025 AND AUTHORIZING AN UPDATE TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the legal firm of Richards, Watson & Gershon provides legal services for the City of Fairfield; and
WHEREAS, due to an increase in legal services for fiscal year (FY) 2024-2025, additional funds in the amount of $100,000 need to be added to the City Manager’s Office budget; and
WHEREAS, the revised appropr iation constitutes an update to the FY 2024-2025 Budget approved pursuant to Resolution No. 2024-133.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The council hereby approves an increase in appropriations and update to FY 2024- 2025 budget in the amount of $100,000 to the General Fund for the City Manager’s Office (Org 10110201) for additional legal services incurred in FY 2024-2025.
