RESOLUTION NO. 2025-124
APPROVING A FIVE-YEAR LEASE EXTENSION FOR POLICE PROPERTY AND EVIDENCE STORAGE
FACILITIES
WHEREAS, the Police Department needs a secure, indoor space for evidence storage; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department needs to extend the lease on the existing secure, indoor space for evidence storage and processing; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department has identified the viable space at 1891 Woolner Avenue, Suites F and H, respectively.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The City Council hereby approves a 60-month lease agreement with BALCO Properties, Ltd., LLC for Police Department property and evidence storage at 1891 Woolner Avenue, Suites F and H, which includes an extension to existing lease agreements for both suites.
Section 2. The city manager is authorized to execute the lease agreement with BALC O Properties, Ltd., LLC and the expenditure of funds not to exceed $523,119.84 from the General Fund (Fund 101, Responsibility and Division Code 50401).
