CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Catherine "Cat" Moy called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. City Attorney David Lim called roll.
Present in person were Councilmembers Doug Carr, Doriss Panduro, Manveer Sandhu, Scott Tonnesen, K. Patrice Williams, and Mayor Cat Moy. Vice Mayor Pam Bertani was absent.
No members of the public wished to speak at public comment.
The City Council convened a joint session of the City Council and the Paradise Valley Maintenance and Monitoring District (PVMMD) and went into closed session on the following item with the listed people present:
G.1. Conference with Legal Counsel — Anticipated Litigation (Gov't Code section 54956.9(d)(2)-(4)) Re: Resolution PVMMD 2025-02 PW Approving FY 2025-2026 PVMMD Budget and Assessments
Gov't Code section 54956.9(e)(5) — A statement threatening litigation made by a person (Ms.
Theda Peck) outside an open and public meeting made on this matter on June 24, 2025.
Present were City Attorney David Lim, City Manager David Gassaway, Farbod Pirouzmand, and Chris Lewis.
The City Council and PVMMD came out of closed session.
Mayor Moy adjourned the meeting at 5:49 p.m.
