RECOMMENDED ACTION
Approve appointment. Perform oath of office.
STATEMENT OF ISSUE
The City Council is being asked to approve the appointment as follows:
Planning Commission
Term July 15, 2025, to June 30, 2026
Aidan Ali-Sullivan
DISCUSSION
The Planning Commissioner typically serves four-year terms, but the Appointment Committee wanted to even out the staggering of terms within the Planning Commission so this appointment will only be for a limited term of one year.
Councilmembers Doriss Panduro and Scott Tonnesen interviewed six applicants on June 26, 2025.
The applicant listed above is recommended for appointment, and the recommendati on was submitted to Mayor Catherine "Cat" Moy for consideration. Mayor Moy agreed with the recommendations provided.
