CITY OF FAIRFIELD
RESOLUTION NO. 2025-156
APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE NAMING CITY FACILITIES, DONATIONS,
SPONSORSHIPS, AND CAPITAL CAMPAIGNS POLICY
WHEREAS, on October 1, 2019, City Council approved the Policy for Naming City Facilities, Donations, Sponsorships, and Capital Campaigns by minute action, and
WHEREAS, City staff utilize the Policy for Naming City Facilities, Donations, Sponsorships, and Capital Campaigns to guide actions impacting a variety of city functions; and
WHEREAS, feedback has been received from the City Council and the community regarding amending the policy to enhance the opportunities for supporting city functions; and
WHEREAS, City Council has provided direction on specific policy changes to expand support for city functions impacted by this policy.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. Adopt an amended version of the policy as shown in Exhibit A of this resolution to take effect as of this date.
