Hi Cat - Thanks for reaching back out to me. Unfortunately I am unable to attend tonight's Council meeting but I would greatly appreciate your help and support to socialize this with the rest of the council. I'm glad to hear you and Bertani initially voted no. We already have a huge homeless issue on North Texas and I don't understand how it is even being contemplated to add more. I love our City and am excited that we are being recognized as a top destination for golf, wine, and more. This project is just not suited for this part of town and jeopardizes our tourism and living community in the area. The other side of North Texas is completely engulfed with homeless as you know. The Raley's side of N Texas is the only nice part and this will likely ruin that...

Thanks,

Zack Firestone

2 I see that you cc’d the entire City Council. That’s great, as we all need to know how citizens feel about projects.

As you may know, Vice Mayor Bertani and I voted No on the first round of votes on rezoning.

I’ll ensure that our staff knows your position.

Hello - I'm writing to you all as I'm out of town for work and unable to attend tonight's City Council Meeting. This is Zack Firestone, Fairfield resident living at 695 Paradise Ct. I live a couple of blocks from this project site.

I strongly oppose this project and ask you to please reconsider and NOT approve this. Fairfield was just recognized as the top wine region and our Paradise neighborhood is among the nicest parts of Fairfield, including our renowned golf course. Texas Roadhouse is a huge draw to the area and I'm confident patrons will be negatively affected by this project. This project is not a fit for our community and will further exacerbate the current homelessness and drug issues already rampant up and down North Texas Street. Police drive by and do nothing to contain existing homelessness and drug use in the wide open. Take a drive today and see for yourself the massive issues we already have and need to work throughout the area. I'm frequently in Raley's while staff attempts to remove homeless folks stealing liquor and other goods.

It's your #1 job as City Council to protect our community and residents who PAY TAXES AND VOTE. I speak for the vast majority of residents who strongly oppose this project that will directly contribute to more crime, drugs, and huge amounts of litter and feces already impacting our neighborhood.

3 If this project passes under your leadership, I will make it my personal mission to organize and advocate against your re-election in any capacity through every means I have.

I love my neighborhood, and this is not the place for this project!

Sincerely,

Zack Firestone
