Hi Gena,

Thank you for reaching out about the proposed zone change so a motel can be used as housing for homeless people with mental health issues, among other issues .

I hear you and will consider your thoughts when I vote.

I’m bcc’ing the City Council to ensure they know your position.

Thank you again.

Faithfully Leading Fairfield,

Catherine “Cat” Moy
Mayor, City of Fairfield

Dear Mayor Moy,
My husband and I are very disappointed to see that our city council thinks this project is ok for Fairfield. If we remember correctly, didn’t the City Council try to sneak this by during Covid and the community was outraged when they found out? Now our City Council is trying to sneak this by again? Shame on you! A lot of people stop off to eat at Texas Road House, stop off at the gas stations and shopping centers over this way. Is this the image you want to give to outsiders about what Fairfield is turning out to be? Stop coming up with these bad ideas, City Council 눮눯눰눱눲눦눳눴. Think about what this will do to our business owners and our community. As a resident, you will lose my business to avoid being subjected to crime in my own community. I want to be able to live where I feel safe. This will not be the case. Let’s not become another Oakland.

Sincerely, Gena Caya
