RECOMMENDED ACTION
Adopt resolution.
STATEMENT OF ISSUE
Update Resolution 86-32 specifies a position that no longer exists in the City’s organizational structure.
DISCUSSION
The Solano Animal Control Authority (SACA) Board, formed by a Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) in 1986, requires each member agency to appoint a representative. The original resolution named the city manager or public safety director as the representative. An updated resolution effective August 2025 will allow for a designee rather than a specific position.
