RESOLUTION NO. 2025-168
APPROVING AN INCREASE CONTRACT AMOUNT FOR EIDE BAILLY PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING AN UPDATE TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfield entered into a Professional Services Agreement with Eide Bailly , LLP on July 11, 2025, to provide consulting services related to energy incentives and tax credit filings; and
WHEREAS, the original agreement established a not-to-exceed amount of $100,000; and
WHEREAS, the scope of services has expanded to include additional technical support for energy and infrastructure initiatives, necessitating an increase in the contract amount; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to amend the agreement to increase the not -to-exceed amount to $260,000 to ensure continuity of services and support for time-sensitive federal incentive filings; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funding was not allocated in the City’s approved fiscal year (FY) 2025 -2026 Budget for the expanded consulting services, thus requiring a budget adjustment of $ 260,000; and
WHEREAS, the revised appropriation constitutes an update the FY 2025 -2026 Budget approved pursuant to Resolution No. 2025-103.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The Cit y Council hereby approves Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with Eide Bailly , LLP, increasing the not -to-exceed amount from $100,000 to $260,000.
Section 2. The council hereby approves an increase in appropriations of $ 260,000 to the Intragovernmental Services Fund (55120100).
Section 2. The city manager is hereby authorized to execute said amendment on behalf of the City of Fairfield.
