CITY OF FAIRFIELD
RESOLUTION NO. 2025-176
APPROVING THE RESPONSE TO THE 2024-2025 SOLANO COUNTY CIVIL GRAND JURY REPORT ENTITLED: POLICE HOMELESS OUTREACH
WHEREAS, the Solano County Grand Jury has issued a report for 2024 -2025 entitled “Police Homeless Outreach;” and
WHEREAS, the Solano County Grand Jury has presented Findings and Recommendations in its report and has required the City of Fairfield to respond; and
WHEREAS, under the California Penal Code, the City of Fairfield is obligated to respond to the Findings and Recommendations of the Grand Jury within 90 days; and
WHEREAS, a proposed response to the Findings and Recommendations of the Grand Jury Investigation has been developed.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The attached response to the 2024-2025 Grand Jury Report entitled “Police Homeless Outreach” is hereby approved for transmittal to the Administrative Assistant to the Grand Jury, Cheryl Clower.
