RESOLUTION NO. 2025-180
APPROVING AN INCREASE CONTRACT AMOUNT FOR BERTRAND, FOX, ELLIOT, OSMAN, &
WENZEL, LLP PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, On July 1, 2024, the City of Fairfield entered into a Professional Services Agreement with Bertrand, Fox, Elliot, Osman, & Wenzel, LLP to provide legal representation for public safety personnel matters for the City of Fairfield; and
WHEREAS, the original agreement established a not-to-exceed amount of $100,000; and
WHEREAS, the current not-to-exceed amount of $100,000 has been reached and additional funds are needed to continue utilizing consultant’s services through the current term date of December 31, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. T he council hereby approves Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with Bertrand, Fox, Elliot, Osman, & Wenzel , LLP, increasing in the not-to-exceed amount from $100,000 to $200,000.
Section 2. The city manager or authorized designee is hereby authorized to execute said amendment on behalf of the City of Fairfield.
