FAIRFIELD HOUSING AUTHORITY
RESOLUTION NO. HA2025-04
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO APPROVE AN ADDITIONAL $135,000 AND TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 WITH OUTSOURCEIT FOR HOUSING QUALITY STANDARD
SERVICES TO THE FAIRFIELD HOUSING AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the Fairfield Housing Authority (FHA) is responsible for ensuring compliance with Housing Quality Standards as mandated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and
WHEREAS, FHA entered into a contract with OutsourceI T to provide Housing Quality Standards (HQS) inspections and compliance services in 2023; and
WHEREAS, the need for additional HQS services has increased due to growing program demand and costs, requiring expanded contract support to maintain federal compliance and ensure safe, quality housing for program participants; and
WHEREAS, FHA finds it necessary and in the best interest of housing programs to amend the OutsourceIT contract by allocating an additional $135,000 to modify the existing contract to a new total amount of $195,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE FAIRFIELD HOUSING AUTHORITY HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The amendment to the contract with OutsourceIT provides an additional $135,000 for HQS services.
Section 2. The executive director is hereby authorized to execute all necessary documents to implement this resolution.
