RESOLUTION NO. 2025-213
APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE LEASE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND SOLANO COUNTY SPECIAL EDUCATION LOCAL PLAN AREA FOR THE SITE LOCATED AT 3305 CHERRY HILLS COURT
(ASSESSOR’S PARCEL NUMBER: 0151-880-140)
WHEREAS, the City and Solano County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) entered into the Lease Agreement dated November 19, 2020 (the Lease) for the purpose of operating and administering programs and services for individuals with special needs at 3305 Cherry Hills Court (Property); and
WHEREAS, SELPA has requested to extend the Lease for another twelve month s with an option to purchase the Pr operty at the end of the twelve months , as well as begin paying all of the utilities associated with the Property; and
WHEREAS, the City and SELPA wish to enter into the proposed First Amendment to the Lease Agreement to modify the terms of the Lease.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the First Amendment to the Lease Agreement by and between the City and Solano County Special Education Local Plan Area substantially in the form and content presented and attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 2. The council authorizes the city manager to do all things necessary to implement and execute the First Amendment to the Lease Agreement attached as Exhibit A.
