RESOLUTION NO. 2025-228
APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO GROUND LEASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD AND COMPU-TECH LUMBER PRODUCTS, INC.
FOR A PORTION OF WALTERS ROAD
WHEREAS, the City and Compu -Tech Lumber Products, Inc. (Compu -Tech) entered into the Ground Lease dated August 28, 2014, and the First Amendment dated November 9, 2023 (the Lease) for the purpose of leasing and using a portion of the unimproved Walters Road (Property); and
WHEREAS, the Lease is set to expire on December 31, 2025, and Compu-Tech has requested to extend the Lease for an additional twelve months; and
WHEREAS, the City and Compu-Tech wish to enter the proposed Second Amendment to Ground Lease.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the Second Amendment to Ground Lease by and between the City and Compu-Tech substantially in the form and content presented and attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 2. The council authorizes the city manager to do all things necessary to implement and execute the Second Amendment to Ground Lease attached as Exhibit A.
