CITY OF FAIRFIELD
RESOLUTION NO. 2025-234
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD AND PINNACLE PETROLEUM, INC. FOR THE PROVISION AND DELIVERY OF RENEWABLE DIESEL AND 87 OCTANE GASOLINE AT THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD’S CORPORATION YARD
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfield solicited bids for furnishing and delivering renewable diesel and 87 octane gasoline; and
WHEREAS, the City determined Pinnacle Petroleum, Inc. (Pinnacle) to be the lowest -priced responsive and responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, Pinnacle has agreed to enter into an agreement directly with the City to provide and deliver renewable diesel and 87 octane gasoline at the bid price to the City of Fairfield’s Corporation Yard.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The city manager or designee is hereby authorized and directed to execute the attached contract with the estimated cost of $751,600 with Pinnacle for the provision and delivery of renewable diesel and 87 octane gasoline in the amounts not to exceed the rates as follows:
Renewable Diesel: Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) rack rate minus $0.0921 87 Octane Gasoline: OPIS rack rate minus $0.1607
Section 2. The city manager or designee is authorized to approve and execute a one -year extension to the contract.
Section 3. The public works director or designee is authorized to do all things necessary and proper to implement the contract.
