CITY OF FAIRFIELD
RESOLUTION NO. 2026-08
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO THE TECHNOLOGY SOFTWARE-AS-A-SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH TABLET COMMAND, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfield has acquired licensed software solutions (Tablet Command) from Provider pursuant to the terms of a Technology Software-As-A-Service Agreement entered into between Tablet Command, Inc. and the City dated July 9, 2020 (Services Agreement); and
WHEREAS, the current agreement expired during on-going contract negotiations on October 31, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department proposes to amend the agreement to extend the term through December 31, 2027.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes an amendment to the Technology Software -as-a- Service Agreement with Tablet Command , Inc. for a 26-month renewal in the amount of $99,049.38, plus $10,000 contingency, for a total of up to $109,049.38 (10155100).
Section 2. The council hereby authorizes the city manager or designee to take all steps necessary and proper to implement this resolution.
