RESOLUTION NO. 2026-11
DECLARING APPLICATION PERIOD IS OPEN FOR SOLICITATION OF NAMING RIGHTS FOR TWO
CITY-OWNED FACILITIES - THE FAIRFIELD CENTER FOR CREATIVE ARTS AND THE GOLF RANGE
AT PARADISE VALLEY GOLF COURSE
WHEREAS, on October 1, 2019, the City Council established the Policy for Naming City Facilities, Donations, Sponsorships, and Capital Campaigns by minute action, and amended said policy on July 15, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the policy process allows facilities to be named at any t ime the council declares by resolution an application period is open; and
WHEREAS, City staff is requesting to employ the Naming Policy to help offset capital investment projects for two city-owned facilities – the Fairfield Center for Creative Arts and the Golf Range Training facility at Paradise Valley golf course; and
WHEREAS, as per Policy, Section C.5. Private enterprise may be considered when used as a capital campaign.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The city manager is hereby authorized to do all things necessary to implement this resolution.
