ARESOLUTIONAUTHORIZINGEXECUTIONOFACOST-SHARINGAGREEMENTBETWEEN
FAIRFIELD-SUISUNSEWERDISTRICTANDTHECITIESOFFAIRFIELDANDSUISUN
CITYREGARDINGSEWERCOLLECTIONSYSTEMMASTERPLANNINGSERVICES WHEREAS,theDistrictwishestoupdateitsCollectionSystemMasterPlan(CSMP) toaccountforchangesingrowthassumptionsassociatedwithupdatedCityGeneralPlans andupdateitsCollectionSystemAssetManagementPlan(CSAMP)toaccountforupdated assetconditiondataobtainedoverthepastfiveyears(“Project”);and WHEREAS,theCitiesofFairfieldandSuisunCitywishtojointheirsewerassetsinto theDistrict’sCSMPandCSAMPmodelsandplanasasingle,coordinatedcollection system;and
WHEREAS,theDistrictiswillingtoadministertheCities’portionsoftheProject ScopewiththeDistrict’sportionoftheProjectScopeandtootherwiseadministertheoverall “Project”ontheDistrictandCities’behalf;and
WHEREAS,onJuly28,2025,theBoardauthorizedtheGeneralManagertoexecute aConsultingServicesContractwithWoodard&Curran,Inc.(W&C)inanamountnotto exceed$1,172,865formasterplanningandengineeringservicesfortheProject;and WHEREAS,theDistrictandCitieswishtoenterintoanAgreementRegardingSewer CollectionSystemMasterPlanningServicestoestablishProjectroles,responsibilities,and termsforcostsharingandpayment.
NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFDIRECTORSOFTHE
FAIRFIELD-SUISUNSEWERDISTRICT:
1.TheforegoingRecitalsaretrueandcorrectandmadeapartofthisResolution.
2.TheBoardauthorizesfinalizingandenteringintoacost-sharingAgreement RegardingSewerCollectionSystemMasterPlanningServiceswiththeCityof FairfieldandtheCityofSuisunCity.
3.TheGeneralManagerisherebyauthorizedanddirectedtodoallthings necessaryandpropertoimplementthisresolution.
