Reason for Supporting
Our neighbors are not pleased with the way our elected leaders are making decisions and not taking our opinions Waste of tax dollars for the benefit of the few.
What business owner would buy a place for 19 million more than what it's worth. If this is a business, it would be Concern for my safety along with the residence of Fairfield. Concern for the children that walk to the schools in th I don't agree on using taxpayers money to support this for 55 years... really? Ideas like these are ruining a place we all call home. It will bring more unwanted attention and send the wrong mE Making Fairfield more unsafe and driving residents away. Concerned for public safety. Driving business away from Concern that residents of FF will not be able to sustain the additional costs of the project in the future Don't want mentally ill people near my kids
We want an independent review. City council approved this without having essential information and without tak Because number one this is going to house people that are not the ones on the street currently (the ones we deal We need to have projects that enhance the North Texas Street area. This project would not do that.
Concern for additional crime it will cause. Businesses near by do not feel safe.
I am seeking enhanced oversight regarding the allocation of my tax contributions.
This is an inefficient use of funds. The location is also a safety risk to our community.
I do not agree with this project
Waste of taxpayer money. Questions not answered on liability issues. Concerns about drug usage and sec offende disagree in totality
Bad deal for the citizens of Fairfield.
Investigate possible fraud Relocate address of housing
If approved, project will negatively affect our small business.
Do not want this type of facility this close to 2 schools and my neighborhood. The individuals targeted for this faci It would be costly for the residents. It's also a concern that it will drive away businesses like Texas Roadhouse. It' Quit wasting tax dollars and be honest about how much something actually costs.
I do not feel that this project is a positive step for the city of Fairfield.
Based on the material fact of property appraisal, the city and ultimately all Fairfield overpaid for this project. Thus Fairfield taxpayers should not have to foot this bill!
I am a recent homeowner and can't handle anymore extra taxes than I am already dealing with.
I am against the Vista Ridge.
I don't want this built near my neighborhood.
There is NO BENEFIT having this facility in our community. It will only result in chaos.
We, the residents, should have a vote on such an impactful decision on our community. Having housing such as tl To ensure all information is being into consideration and that it makes financial sense for our community This is a neighborhood of families and children. Allowing this will bring crime and danger to our children All information was not fully disclosed, lack of transparency and good faith to the community.
I don't believe this is a fit for our area. We have enough crime, homeless/unhoused, mentally challenged and dru We moved to this neighborhood with the hopes that the integrity of the neighborhood would remain as well as ra Funding availability
It will reduce the value of homes in the area. Small children live in the area and go to the shopping center and re I support a re vote of the project as it is a waste of taxpayer funds, does nothing to correct the homelessness and I believe in supporting the homeless of our city but do not believe this is the way to go or in the best interests of t I support this petition because Vista Ridge is an extremely bad deal and a concern for taxpayers and our neighborl The projected costs to outfit this dwelling site as well as the controversy concerning the types of residents are rea This is a terrible waste of Fairfield taxpayer money. And 55 year deal for only a small number of people who will r The numbers are very exorbitant, way over the actual numbers needed. The City is on hook for 55 years on a 19 m Needing to have an independent audit to prevent fraud or wasting hard earned tax payer dollars.
Business owners cannot afford the higher taxes that this program will force upon us .
We have enough homeless in this area! They are an eyesore and a threat to the local communitie, trash everywh( Waste of taxpayers money. Decline of property values around the neighborhood..
Safety, cost andthe need for more transparency
Prefer a project that will bring value to the city and neighborhood.
It costs to much for the outcome.
This project will degrade values properties of surrounding the neighborhood but, first and far most , the project w The project is fiscally unsound. The Fairfield Taxpayers would be paying assessments for years to come while struf I think it is a shame that our dollars are going to fund a project that nobody wants. The track record of this compa I again of this project.
why bother building new homes or try to bring new businesses to a community that supports housing individuals Terrific waste of money!! The amount of $26 MILLION to be invested in Vista Ridge project could help so many pE For ALL of the reasons/points included in the above Petition. Bottom line is that I and everyone I know and talk tc No on Vista Ridge we do not need and have the funding
WASTE OF MONEY BESIDES THE FACT THE CITY IS PAYING OVER MARKET VALUE.
In addition to the reasons outlined above, I opppose this project due to the likelihood of a criminal element in our Not in support.
Overspending and abuse of Taxpayer money.
Tax dollars , no supervision or rules for the homeless to follow. This is only going to waste our tax dollars and it isr Prevent higher crime rates and prevent wasted tax dollars.
In agreement.
This is a good neighborhood, with homeless people around it will change everything even our safety in our homes Waste of taxpayer money. Poor due diligence performed by the City of Fairfield.
Waste of our tax dollars
Don't want them using our taxes to pay for this. This will make Fairfield area on North Texas worse than it already Citizens were not properly informed. Value of property was not correct - assessment report should be strongly coi Many reasons. Fairfield doesn't have the budget and it's not fair to businesses and other people to have drug add The City of Fairfield is spending MORE money than what the project will be worth. Not a good investment.
The lack of due diligence to investigate the economic feasibility of the project and its potential impact on tax payE The funding numbers make no sense
Too close to home. Alos the risk of potential business shutting their doors and relocating to a different city.
There is no sane reason to house the worst of society near our children.
Waste of money! It will create more problems (financial and increased crime) and not solve any. There are better Not thoroughly thought out.
Same as others
We aren't spending our hard earned money on something that will be worthless. Also, don't want the added hom I feel that having that homeless shelter so close to schools and businesses will make our communities unsafe Not only is this a waste of taxpayer's money, but the location of this project will create a blight on the entire area This will be wasteful spending! Nothing new to California taxpayers! Many, one of them being so close to residential areas and schools, making the neighborhood unsafe.
The proposed Vista Ridge housing is within the vicinity of schools, fine restaurants, dental clinics, shopping center I think it is wrong so close houses
Not a good location for this type of project
The overpaid amount for this property could've been put to other resources.
Many reasons! The project will have a value of only $7.2 million after completion in 2027, while the public is spen I believe this project will bring our property value down also we have already lost CVS due to thefts / loss from the Victimization of Fairfield residents and local business.
This is a very bad financial deal that was rammed through the city council without proper vetting. In addition, this I am opposed to the location of the facility. The Vista Ridge project will be located next to a children's dentist offic As stated above, and the citizens of Fairfield should not be forced to accept this political boondoggle. We should k This will bring more homeless to the area. And will drive patrons from local businesses like Texas Roadhouse. Add I do not agree with the lack of transparency in this project, nor do I believe a project like this is successful in comb I do not support this project in this area. This project does not make financial sense.
I do not want that type of development near my residence. I don't think it's good for the community and for the k Low income housing always leads to more crime in the area. Do not waste our tax dollars! This decision raises serious concerns about public safety, accountability, and the long term well being of our comrr This will lower our property values and decrease public safety. Fiscally, this does not add up. We tax payers are ge Our city is already in severe debt!
Lack of public transportation and social services within reasonable distance to Vista Ridge. Setting up occupants fo Don't want it
Should have been voted on by the residents of Fairfield that would be affectedby this.
This project is not a good fit to the community, too costly, not well planned.

This project is a poor use of public money and will degrade the quality of life for residents in surrounding neighbor Not a fit for the community
I agree it is a waste of taxpayer money. Also I like shopping at Raleys on North Texas and I would stop going then Vista Ridge 's cost is prohibitive, too close to residences with many young children, bring additional crimes to area Not a good value, wrong location, I do not want to pay for it I'm concerned about taxpayers footing the bill, safety concerns, and negative impact to local businesses.
There are currently two valuation reports. One, commissioned by the developer in 2025, values the property at $] Because I don't want to pay taxes to finance 55 year long project that I didn't vote for.
This project is bad for business!
This project is not good for our neighborhood. We have more important revitalization projects we should be fund Cost prohibitive. The wrong service in the wrong location. Please tank this poorly thought out project.
