RESOLUTION NO. 2026-68
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO OPERATING MEMORANDUM NO. 1 BETWEEN THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD AND ONE LAKE HOLDING, LLC. TO BEGIN PHASE 1
CONSTRUCTION OF VANDEN ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfield entered into an agreement with One Lake Holding, LLC and other parties for the development of portions of the Train Station Specific Plan Area; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfield may designate assignment of transportation infrastructure improvements as defined by prior agreements; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfield has determined that improvements to Vanden Road are the priority transportation improvements for assignment; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfield staff and One Lake Holding, LLC have negotiated an operating memorandum to allow work to commence; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfield and One Lake Holding, LLC will each provide the necessary funding for phase 1 of the Vanden Road project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfield will provide $7,083,476.50 to fund the first phase of the project; and
WHEREAS, two-thirds of the City of Fairfield funding of the first phase of the project shall come from the Northeast Transportation Impact Fee and one -third shall come from the AB1600 Citywide Transportation Impact Fee.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. Operating Memorandum No. 1, substantially in the form attached, is hereby approved, subject to any clerical or clarifying changes consistent with the attached report and approved by the city attorney.
Section 2. The city manager is hereby authorized to execute Operating Memorandum No. 1 and take all steps to implement the amended agreement.
