RESOLUTION NO. 2026-83
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD AND RESTORATION FAMILY COUNSELING CENTER, INC. FOR
PEER SUPPORT AND COUNSELING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Fairfield Police Department acknowledges law enforcement to be a high -stress profession and recognizes the importance of having additional resources available to personnel; and
WHEREAS, Restoration Family Counseling Center, Inc. (RFCC) provides a fully customized wellness services specifically designed for high -stress professionals and their families to visit on an as-needed basis and resources in times of distress; and
WHEREAS, RFCC provides integral peer support services including debriefings and trainings; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfield entered into an agreement with RF CC in 2023 for a three -year term, expiring June 30, 2026; and
WHEREAS, entering into an agreement with RFCC will ensure continuity of services; and
WHEREAS, both the City of Fairfield and RFCC wish to enter into another three-year agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The agreement between the City and RFCC is entered into for a period of three years, expiring on June 30, 2029.
Section 2. The city manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Fairfield, the proposed Professional Services Agree ment between the City and RF CC in an amount not-to-exceed $396,885.
Section 3. The city manager is hereby authorized to execute any future necessary amendments to the agreement including two additional one-year terms in an amount not-to-exceed $132,295 annually with the grand total of $661,475.
