The adoption of this resolution authorizes the levy of the annual fiscal year (FY) 2026-2027 special taxes for Community Facilities District No. 1 (CFD No. 1) which funds the acquisition of open space.

DISCUSSION
CFD No. 1 was formed in 1986, under the Mello -Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982, by Resolution No. 86 -113 to fund the acquisi tion of real property and interests in real property having an estimated useful life of five years or longer for open space purposes or both . The annual special tax is $80 per single-family dwelling in each zone. This special tax is fixed and is not subject to annual increases.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
The total proposed revenue for this district is $306,110 and the total proposed expenditures are $311,075, which will be paid from the CFD No. 1 Fairfield Open Space Fund (Fund 323).
