STATEMENT OF ISSUE
The City desires to enter into an agreement with Active Network to continue providing online registration and facility reservation services for the Parks & Recreation Department.

DISCUSSION
The City of Fairfield utilizes Active Network’s cloud -based recreation management platform to support Parks & Recreation operations, including community class registration, facility reservations, payment processing, and customer account management. The sys tem enables residents to access programs and reserve facilities online, while providing staff with tools to manage schedules, registrations, reporting, and revenue tracking.

The proposed agreement would continue the City’s use of the Active Network platfo rm and associated hosting, licensing, maintenance, and support services. Maintaining this system supports efficient service delivery, improves customer accessibility, and reduces reliance on manual or paper-based processes.

Approval of the agreement will allow the Parks & Recreation Department to maintain continuity of service, ensure system reliability, and support ongoing community engagement through online access to programs and facilities.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
The total cost of the proposed product and services agreement with Active Network is $228,952.39, inclusive of a ten percent contingency of $ 20,813.85, software licensing, maintenance, and support services. Estimated annual costs are as follows:
 Year 1: $30,600.00
