CITY OF FAIRFIELD
RESOLUTION NO. 2026-110
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PRODUCT AND SERVICES AGREEMENT
WITH ACTIVE NETWORK, LLC FOR PARKS & RESERVATION SOFTWARE
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfield acquired licensed software solutions (Active Network) from Provider pursuant to the terms of a Service Agreement entered into between Active Network and City dated March 2, 2021 (Services Agreement); and
WHEREAS, the Active Network system is used by the Parks & Recreation Department to support online program registration, facility reservations, customer account management, and payment processing for the community; and
WHEREAS, the initial three-year agreement term expired in April 2024; and
WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation department has since negotiated to execute an agreement for a three-year initial term, with optional three-year auto-renew terms not-to-exceed 5% per year.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes an amendment to the Product and Services Agreement with Active Network, LLC. for 3 -year renewal in the amount of $208,138.55, plus $20,813.85 contingency, for a total of up to $228,952.41. Costs will be allocated to 101-30-100-8441.
Section 2. The council hereby authorizes the city manager or designee to take all steps necessary or useful to implement this resolution.
