CITY OF FAIRFIELD
RESOLUTION NO. 2026-127
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH CONCERN FOR THE EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, On J anuary 1, 202 3, the City of Fairfiel d entered into a Professional Services Agreement with Concern: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to provide employee assistance services to the City of Fairfield; and
WHEREAS, the original agreement established a not-to-exceed amount of $100,000; and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 extended the terms to December 31, 2025, and increased the not- to-exceed amount by $50,000; and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 2 only extended the terms, the current not-to-exceed amount of $150,000 has been reached and additional funds are needed to continue utilizing consultant’s services through the current term date of December 31, 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. T he council hereby app roves Amendment No. 3 to the Professional Services Agreement with Concern: EAP , increasing in the not-to-exceed amount from $1 50,000 to $190,000.
Section 2. The city manager or authorized designee is hereby authorized to execute said amendment on behalf of the City of Fairfield.
