RECOMMENDED ACTION
Approve appointments. Perform oaths of office.
STATEMENT OF ISSUE
The City Council is being asked to approve the appointment as follows:
Planning Commission
Term July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2030
Hannah Cordero Chen
Shashi Paul (re-appointment)
Aidan Ali-Sullivan (re-appointment)
Youth Commission
Term January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027
Fateh Takhar
DISCUSSION
Councilmembers Doriss Panduro and Scott Tonnesen interviewed 12 applicants on June 10 and June 11, 2026 . The applicants listed above are recommended for appointment, and the
recommendation was submitted to Mayor Rick Vaccaro for consideration. Mayor Vaccaro agreed with the recommendations provided.
