RESOLUTION NO. 2026-151
APPROVING CONVEYANCE OF AN EASEMENTS TO THE FAIRFIELD-SUISUN SEWER DISTRICT WITHIN ACCESSOR’S PARCEL NUMBERS (APNs) 0166-102-080, 0170-020-140, & 0170-020-170
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE TWO EASEMENT DEEDS
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfield owns fee title interest in the properties located within Solano County Assessor’s Parcel Number (APNs): 0166 -102-080, 0170 -020-140, and 0170 -020-170 (Properties); and
WHEREAS, on May 7, 2013, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2013-84, approving the plans and specifications for the Peabody Road Water and Sewer Relocation Project (Project); and
WHEREAS, the City began construction to relocate water and sewer utilities within Peabody Road which prompted the relocation of an existing 15 -inch sewer line and 12 -inch sewer line owned by Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District (FSSD) on the Properties; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to convey easements over the Properties to FSSD so they may continue operating and maintaining the relocated 15 -inch and 12 -inch sewer lines on the Properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The council finds and determines that the recitals contained herein are tru e and correct.
Section 2. The council hereby approves the easement deeds and authorizes the city manager to execute the easement deeds and cause them to be recorded.
Section 3. The city manager or designee is hereby authorized to do all things necessary to implement and execute the two easement dees.
