CITY OF FAIRFIELD
RESOLUTION NO. 2026-161
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACTOR SERVICES AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD AND LAMAR TRANSIT, LLC FOR TRANSIT ADVERTISING ON
FAST BUSES, BUS SHELTERS, AND TRANSIT PASSENGER FACILITIES
WHEREAS, FAST has existing advertising opportunities on the interior and exterior of approximately 23 vehicles and seven bus shelters; and
WHEREAS, the City conducted a qualifications-based competitive process for an advertising firm to provide advertising services on FAST buses, bus shelters, and transit passenger facilities; and
WHEREAS, Lamar Transit, LLC (Lamar) has been determined to be the most qualified advertising firm and has presented the most opportune potential for revenue generation.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFIELD HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section 1. The city manager or designee is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Fairfield that certain agreement for contract services between the City of Fairfield and Lamar for transit advertising on FAST buses, bus shelters, and transit passenger facilities.
Section 2. The city manager or designee is hereby authorized to extend the contract for up to three one-year extensions upon mutual agreement between the City and Lamar.
