Discussion took place regarding the rebuilding of roads in Farmersville, specifically Front Street between N. Virginia and N. Ventura. Several concerns were raised about the sewer and water systems beneath these streets. A major concern is the lack of an accurate map showing the infrastructure under the streets. The Council is worried about fixing the roads only to have to tear them up later to address issues with the old sewer and water systems. The Council also expressed concerns about the timeline of the road projects, particularly regarding the potential for construction to block traffic when school is in session, which could affect getting kids to and from school.

The Council expressed a desire to educate the residents of Farmersville about the upcoming road work, ensuring they are informed about the timing and duration of the construction.

City Attorney Michael Schulte informed the Council that he would bring their concerns up at the weekly Engineer meeting.
