Participants were presented with a wide array of engaging workshops, allowing us to tailor our learning experience to our specific interests. The conference also featured exceptional keynote speakers, who delivered insightful presentations. Beyond the educational aspects, the event provided a valuable opportunity for us to strengthen our professional networks, enjoying the chance to reconnect with familiar faces and establish new relationships.

Water Shut-Off Program
The City of Firebaugh’s proactive water shut-off program has demonstrated significant success in minimizing service disruptions. The program employs a multi-tiered communication strategy, beginning with an initial notice (Pink Notice), followed by a seven-day letter, a five-day letter, and culminating in a personalized phone call the day before the scheduled shut-off. This comprehensive approach ensures residents are thoroughly informed and given ample opportunity to address any outstanding balances. Consequently, the city has witnessed a dramatic reduction in actual shut-offs, with the number plummeting from a previous high of 60 residents to an average of just five. This effective communication and notification system has proven instrumental in maintaining water service for the vast majority of Firebaugh residents.
