PUBLIC EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT/EMPLOYMENT: City Police Chief Motion to enter open session at 5:19 pm by Council Member Jenkins and seconded by Council Member Perez.
Motion passed by a 4-0 vote.
ANNOUNCEMENT AFTER CLOSED SESSION
Council’s decision to waive the background check because of an internal candidate promotion for the position of Chief of Police was passed by a 3-1 vote. Renteria – no.
