City Council Special Meeting
MINUTES
Tuesday, December 16, 2024 2:00 PM
CALL TO ORDER
The special City Council meeting was called to order at 2:00 pm with Mayor Aquino presiding.
ROLL CALL:
Councilmembers Present:
Sarah Aquino, Mayor
Barbara Leary, Councilmember
Anna Rohrbough, Councilmember
Councilmembers Absent: Michael Kozlowski, Councilmember Justin Raithel, Vice Mayor
ADJOURNMENT TO CLOSED SESSION FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES:
1. Public Employee Appointment – Recruitment to Fill the Position of City Manager Following Retirement Announcement of Current City Manager Pursuant to Government Code section 54957(b)(1)
2. Conference with Labor Negotiator - Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6. Agency Negotiator: Vance Piggott. Employee Organization: Folsom Police Officers’ Association
Motion by Mayor Aquino, second by Councilmember Leary to adjourn to closed session. Motion passed by the following roll-call vote:
AYES: Leary, Rohrbough, Aquino
NOES: None
ABSENT: Kozlowski, Raithel
ABSTAIN: None
Councilmember Kozlowski and Vice Mayor Raithel arrived during closed session.
RECONVENE
Mayor Aquino announced that no final action was taken during closed session.
