City Council Special Budget Workshop
MINUTES
Tuesday, May 27, 2025 2:00 PM
CALL TO ORDER
The special City Council meeting was called to order at 2:00 pm with Mayor Aquino presiding.

Councilmembers Absent: Michael Kozlowski, Councilmember (arrived at 2:05 pm) Anna Rohrbough, Councilmember (arrived at 2:05 pm)
BUDGET WORKSHOP:
1. Discussion of Budget Planning and Priorities for FY 25/26 and Direction to Staff
City Manager Bryan Whitemyer provided a presentation and responded to questions from both the City Council and members of the public. His presentation offered an overview of the City’s budget process and structure, and framed key considerations related to financial sustainability. He posed questions about what it means for the City to live within its means, and encouraged reflection on which core services and assets should be prioritized moving forward.

Mayor Aquino concluded the meeting, noting that the Council will review the budget at their upcoming June 10 meeting.
