City Council Special Meeting
MINUTES
Tuesday, April 14, 2026 5:45 PM
CALL TO ORDER
The special City Council meeting was called to order at 5:45 pm with Mayor Raithel presiding.

ADJOURNMENT TO CLOSED SESSION FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES:
1. Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing Litigation - Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1): Amber Jaimes Inguanzo, Rocio Inguanzo Urquidez v. City of Folsom, Steven Lanagakali Brown, San Mateo County Superior Court Case No. 25-CLJ-07653
2. Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing Litigation - Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1): James Bogener v. City of Folsom, Michael Israel James, and Does 1-30, Sacramento County Superior Court Case No. 26CV005739
3. Conference with Legal Counsel – Anticipated Litigation – Initiation of Litigation Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.9(d)(4): One Potential Case
Motion by Councilmember Aquino, second by Councilmember Leary to adjourn to closed session. Motion passed by the following roll-call vote:

RECONVENE
Interim City Attorney Sari Dierking announced that the City Council authorized legal counsel to defend the cases identified in agenda items 1 and 2 with a unanimous vote (Councilmember Kozlowski absent).
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the City Council, the meeting was adjourned at 6:31 pm.
