City Council Special Meeting
MINUTES
Tuesday, August 11, 2026 5:00 PM
CALL TO ORDER
The special City Council meeting was called to order at 5:00 pm with Mayor Raithel presiding.

ADJOURNMENT TO CLOSED SESSION FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES:
1. Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing Litigation Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1): Laborers International Union of North America, Local Union 185, an Organized Labor Union v. City of Folsom, City Council of the City of Folsom, Toll Brothers, Toll Brothers, Inc., et al., Sacramento County Superior Court Case No. 26WM000186
2. Conference with Real Property Negotiator - Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.8: Real Property Located on the Northeast Corner of East Bidwell Street and Oak Avenue Parkway (6.69 acres). Negotiating Parties: City Manager Bryan Whitemyer on behalf of the City of Folsom; Peter Nixon and Kris Riley on behalf of the property owners. Under Negotiation: Price and Terms of Sale
3. Conference with Legal Counsel – Existing Litigation Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1): Robert Delp v. City of Folsom and City Council of the City of Folsom, Sacramento County Superior Court Case No. 26WM000118
4. Conference with Legal Counsel – Existing Litigation Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(1): Hari Shetty, et al. vs. City of Folsom, Sacramento County Superior Court Case No. 34-2022-00330223-CU-CR-GDS
Motion by Councilmember Aquino, second by Councilmember Leary to adjourn to closed session. Motion passed by the following roll-call vote:
