Sierra Avenue Widening Project
Dear Mr. Kim:
Pursuant to your request, the following is Webb Ass ociates’ proposal to provide construction inspection services for the subject pr oject. The following provides our Project Understanding and Scope, Project Personnel, and Work Hour Cost Estimate.
Project Understanding and Scope
Webb Associates understands that the City of Fontana is seeking an experienced and qualified inspector for construction inspection ser vices for the Sierra Avenue Widening project. The estimated schedule for this p roject is 12 months, and the project is scheduled to begin construction in July 2022. The work will be performed under the On-Call agreement.
The following is a list of holidays we understand t he City observes in which construction will not be allowed: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King’s Birthday, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, La bor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving, Christ mas Eve, and Christmas Day. We also understand that City Hall is closed from Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day.
We understand this project is prevailing wage.

Ed Nylund will be the primary inspector assigned to this project.
Work Hour Cost Estimate
The inspection request is for 12 months Our proposal is for full-time inspection for 12 months.
We have also included a cost for Overtime inspection should it be required.
Construction Inspector 2,000 hours @ $145/hour = $290,000.00 80 hours OT inspection @ $180/hour = $14,400.00
Total not to be exceeded without prior authorizati on from the City of Fontana = $304,400.00
