A PUBLIC HEARING HAS BEEN SCHEDULED BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FONTANA FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Master Case No. 22-049, Master Case No. 22-071, Municipal Code Amendment No. 22-004 and Municipal Code Amendment No. 22-005: Update to the City of Fontana Municipal Code for amendments to Chapter 26 Subdivisions and Chapter 30 Zoning and Development Code to provide updated standards, flexibility in site de sign regulations , and address time saving effectiveness. Updates to Chapter 26 include the addition of provisions pertaining to subdivision and c onveyance maps. Updates to Chapter 30 to allow truck sales within the General Commercial C-2 Zoning District along Valley Boulevard with a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) application, reducing the buffer for s moke sho ps from 1, 500 to 600 feet , reduce required setbacks for residential accessory struct ures within the Si ngle-Family R-1 Zoning District , include a provision for s ign programs and add language for density bonu ses/replacement units to address Senate Bill 330 no net loss provisions.

Determination:
This project qualifies for a categorical exemption pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Sections 15060(c), 15061(B)(3) (the common -sense exemption), and 15378 and Sections No. 3.01, 3.22, and 10.59 of the 2019 Local Guidelines for Implementing CEQA.
