• City Council adopts resolution of intention to establish Community Facilities District No. 110M (“District”) and authorize levy of special taxes therein [within 90 days after written request or petition to create District]; calls hearing on formation of District for September 13, 2022 [30 to 60 days from adoptio n of resolution of intention]. (Government Code § 53321)
Not later than Wednesday, August 24, 2022
• Boundary Map of District filed with the County Recorder’s Office [absolute last day to file is August 26, 2022; 15 days prior to hearing]. (Streets & Highways Code § 3111)
Not later than Tuesday, August 30, 2022
• Notice of the hearing on formation of District and levy of special taxes is mailed by first class mail to each landowner within the proposed District. Notice must describe the majority protest p rocedure and voting procedure. (Government Code § 53322.4)
Not later than Friday, September 2, 2022
• Notice of hearing of intention to establish District is published pursuant to Government Code section 6061 [absolute last day to publish is 7 days before hearing, September 6, 2022]. (Government Code § 53322)
Not later than Tuesday, September 13, 2022
• Certification from County Registrar of Voters is obtained showing that no registered voters reside in the District. (Government Code § 53326)
• Reports of responsible officers filed with City Clerk.

• City Council conducts public hearing.
• City Council adopts resolution of formation establishing District and providing for levy of special taxes which includes a statement that there was no majority protest and incorporates a finding of validity of prior proceedings. (Government Code § 53325.1)
• City Council adopts resolution calling mail ballot special election for September 13, 2022 for the levy of special taxes and establishmen t of appropriations limit. Requires waiver by landowner voter of statutory election period and dates, and concurrence of official conducting election . (Government Code §§ 53326 and 53325.7)
