RESOLUTION NO. 2202-____
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FONTANA AMENDING ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY SECTION 20-50 PURCHASING POLICIES IN ITS ENTIRETY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fontana has adopted Administrative Policies which detail the Rules and Regulations under which the City operates; and WHEREAS, Administrative Policy Section 20-50 Purchasing Policies sets thresholds for direct purchasing in line with an approved budget, rules and guidelines for bidding procedures, and a process for selecting firms to provide services or purchased goods; and WHEREAS, on June 14, 2022, the City Council of the City of Fontana adopted Resolution No. 2022-035, which updated the spending authority limits for the City Manager, Deputy City Manager, and Department Heads; and WHEREAS, the Administrative Policies are periodically updated to reflect organizational needs; and WHEREAS, Administrative Policy Section 20-50 Purchasing Policies requires a comprehensive update to better match the City’s purchasing needs and procedures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fontana does hereby amend Administrative Policy Section 20-50 Purchasing Policies in its entirety.
