To the City of Fontana,
We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to provide you with the proposed solution to your AV needs at the Center Stage Theater. At Matrix AV, we pride ourselves on knowing that our priority is you, the customer. Service is the center point of our business. Technology Service Solutions is not just a slogan; it is our business.
The proposed solution is a turn key system that includes lighting, audio, video and streaming/recording solution. The intent of the design is to work with the City for a solution that meets the functional requirements of the theater as well as meeting the budget for the project. Rest assured Matrix AV is here to help achieve both, with utmost attention to detail, utilizing the latest technology to achieve your goal.
Matrix AV has reviewed the RFP and in response we are proposing the following audio, video, lighting and control system for the Center Stage Theater.
Cabling: The proposal includes cabling, termination, and testing.
Patch Panel: No patch panel is specified as the AV network will be direct connection from device to network switch.
Pathways: Provided by others with Matrix AV oversight.
After Hours and Shift Work: This proposal is based on work performed during regular hours (Straight time). This proposal does not include after-hours, shift work, and weekend work.
Job Site Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Patch and Paint: The project includes removing devices and installing new devices in the ceiling and/or on walls. Inevitably there may be the need for some patching and paint work. This effort is not included in our proposal.
Prevailing Wage: This proposal includes prevailing wage rates.
Electrical: The quote does not include electrical/conduits.
Permit: This proposal does not include a permit from the local authority. Matrix AV can obtain the permit with a 15% administration surcharge.
The proposal is a turn-key system. This includes furnishing all the equipment, installation, wiring, programming, and The proposal is a turn-key system. This includes furnishing all the equipment, installation, wiring, programming, and testing the system. The proposal consists of system drawings, source code, and training.
Warranty: After substantial completion is achieved, Matrix AV shall include one year of warranty for parts and labor and includes the silver service maintenance. This warranty excludes batteries and other consumable items.
Extended Warranty: The City has the option of continuing the extended warranty with the Silver level, Gold level or Platinum level SLAs.
Supply Chain Issues: Please be advised that due to market conditions and supply chain issues, Matrix AV can not be held responsible for delays in delivery of products. Therefore Matrix AV can not be held liable for liquidated damages as stated on page 20 section 4.17 if it is related to delays in delivery.

LOCATION DETAILS
Venue
1. Remove the projection screen at the stage.
2. Remove the existing projector.
3. Remove all theatrical lighting fixtures.
4. Remove ceiling and floor mounted loudspeakers.
5. Remove the equipment from the two racks located in the back of the stage. Keep the necessary amplifiers for reuse.
Updated Proposal - As requested the proposal was updated with the following:
1. A complete 4K production system with 6 X 4K cameras. This include removal of the entire Vaddio and Extron lines. The proposal now includes Blackmagic Design production and recording system with one 12G production switcher, 12G production router, 4K Hyper Deck recorder with 1TB memory, Hyper Deck Extreme controller, rack mounting hardware. The proposal now includes (1) 32" View Sonic 4K for multi-View and (2) Blackmagic 4K monitors.
To support the 4K production system the cabling system for the production side was upgraded to include Belden 1694A cable with the appropriate connectors.
2. Removed the Chamsys lighting controller and added Road Hog 4-21 lighting controller
3. Added additional three encoders to support the cable boxes. The system now includes (7) encoders and (12) decoders.
4. Added one more (48) port PoE++ network switch to address the additional network support needed
5. To support the system we upgraded the number and type of UPS. The system includes (4) rack mountable UPSs.
6. Added two additional 7" wall-mounted touch panels. Green Room and VIP Room Current Control Booth
1. Remove all existing equipment and stow away for the City of Fontana personnel to pick up.
2. Keep all equipment that may be used for the new AV system i.e. the video wall controller. Retain all equipment racks to use in the new AV system. Our assumption is that the video wall along with the controller is in working condition. Prior to removing the video wall controller (For construction purposes) Matrix AV will test the video wall to ensure proper operation. Any anomalies will be reported to the City.
3. Mark all conduits to extend to the new AV Control Booth. Conduits to the new AV booth by others.
New Control Booth
The new control booth shall include most of the AV equipment for the venue.
1. One D-Live S Class 5000 audio mixing console with one expansion module to provide 32 inputs by 16 outputs.

2. Four quad ULXD receivers with (2) remote antennas. This will provide (16) channels of wireless capability mounted in one of the existing racks. The system shall include an antenna distribution system.

3. Eight body pack transmitters with (8) over ear omni directional microphones.

6. Three two channel transmitter system for in ear monitor system with an antenna system for the transmission system.

There is only one advantage that stage wedges have over in-ear monitor systems - They are less expensive to deploy.
All floor boxes shall include two audio outputs each. Should the theater need to use a wedge in future (Highly unlikely) Matrix AV has included the connection points in this proposal.
7. As requested we are including an Assistive Listening System for 450 patrons.

8. One control system processor by Crestron with one 22" monitor and preview window programmed in the system. The ability to send any source to any or all destinations shall be programmed. The touch screen shall include a video window to preview the content before sharing with other destinations.
9. Six 4K cameras distributed strategically throughout the venue for proper coverage of the audience and stage.
The system shall include 4K professional grade production switcher including joystick control.

Chauvet Cyclorama fixtures: Eight Cyclorama fixtures for the stage to provide a homogeneous field of light with significant reach. Its sleek low profile blends discreetly into stage sets as either a cyc wash or footlight and pairs perfectly with the CYC 1 FC to easily extend coverage with seamless consistency in interchangeable configurations. Completely convection cooled, the unit is ideal for applications where silent operation is critical.

Stage Floor Boxes:
The stage floor has (5) floor boxes. Our proposal includes removing the existing plates and installing two audio inputs and two audio outputs per floor box (Total of 5 dual I/O). Additionally, each floor box shall retain the existing electrical connections and shall include include one network connection to the AV system.
