A PUBLIC HEARING HAS BEEN SCHEDULED BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FONTANA FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) State Clearing House No. 2022030544, Master Case (MCN) No. 21-099, Design Review Project (DRP) No. 21-039, Tentative Parcel Map (TPM) No. 21-022, General Plan Amendment (GPA) No. 21-005, Zone Change Application (ZCA) No. 21-007 and Development Agreement No. 22-007: Request for development of an approximately 19.0‐acre property (APNs 0239‐151‐19, ‐25, ‐26, and ‐36) with two industrial commerce center buildings having maximum sizes of 296,297 square feet (s.f) and 88,746 s.f. (total of 385,043 s.f.), consolidation of 4 parcels into 2 parcels, proposed amendment of the General Plan designation from Multi‐Family High Density Residential (R‐MFH) and General Commercial (C‐G) to Light Industrial (I‐L), and proposed amendment of the zoning designation from Multi‐Family High Density Residential (R‐5) and General Commercial (C‐2) to Light Industrial (M‐1). The industrial commerce center project also includes a proposed truck loading area that will be screened by a 14-foot-high wall along the south side of Building No. 1 and on the west side of Building No. 2, vehicular parking areas, drive aisles, and landscaping. The applicant has also prepared a development agreement.

Environmental Determination:
This project has been determined to have a significant effect on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) (SCH No. 2022030544) has been prepared pursuant to Sections 15080 and 15097 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
