A PUBLIC HEARING HAS BEEN SCHEDULED BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FONTANA FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) State Clearing House No. 2022030544, Master Case (MCN) No. 21-090, Design Review Project (DRP) No. 21-034, Tentative Parcel Map (TPM) No. 20523 (TPM No. 21-018), General Plan Amendment (GPA) No. 21-004, Zone Change Application (ZCA) No. 21-006, and Development Agreement No. 22-006: Request for development of an approximately 11.1‐acre property (APNs 0239‐151‐09 and ‐38) with a single industrial commerce center building having a maximum of 199,999 square feet (s.f.) of building space, consolidation of 2 parcels into 1 parcel, amend the General Plan land use designation from Multi‐Family High Density Residential (R‐MFH) to Light Industrial (I‐L), and revision of the zoning designation from Multi‐Family High Density Residential (R‐5) to Light Industrial (M‐1). The industrial commerce center project also includes a screened truck yard and trailer storage area along the south side of the structure, vehicular parking areas, drive aisles, and landscaping. The applicant has also prepared a development agreement.

Environmental Determination:
This project has been determined to have a significant effect on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) (SCH No. 2022030544) has been prepared pursuant to Sections 15080 and 15097 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
Location of Property:
The Project Site is located on the east side of Sierra Avenue approximately 700 feet north of Casa Grande Avenue (APNs: 0239‐151‐09 and ‐38).
