RESOLUTION NO. 2023 –
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FONTANA, CALIFORNIA ADOPTING THE FISCAL YEARS 20 23/2024 - 2029/2030
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has conducted a public hearing on the FY 2023/2024 through 20 29/2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and determined the CIP to be in conformance with the City's General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted a public hearing on the CIP and Future CIP projects, received input from City boards and commissions, and the general public and others; and
WHEREAS, the FY 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 Fiscal Year Budget includes funding of FY 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 CIP projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, determined, and ordered by the City Council of the City of Fontana that the FY 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 CIP projects as outlined in the CIP Proposed Budget are hereby approved and the City Manager is authorized to proceed with the implementation of these CIP projects as planned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that any additio ns or deletions by project title for the Adopted FY 2023/2024 through 2029/2030 Capital Improvement Program must be authorized only upon recommendation of the City Manager and approval by the City Council; and, that any changes to CIP amounts exceeding t en percent of the original cost estimate will require approval of the City Council as recommended by the City Manager.
