Motorola Solutions, Inc. (“Motorola”) is the market leader in radio communications systems and products for the U.S. Government and Public Safety Market and is pleased to have the Fontana Police Department as a valued customer. The ASTRO25 radio subscribers we design and manufacture contain proprietary hardware and software components which are not commercially available except through Motorola and its channel partners.
The Motorola Radio Equipment and Options that will be purchased by the Fontana Police Department will be used on the County of San Bernardino's existing Motorola ASTRO P25 Trunked System.
These radios will operate on P25 Trunked equipment with proprietary features, operating on the Motorola Solutions core equipment located at San Bernardino County Master Site.
