CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL:
A. 9:00 A.M. Call To Order/Roll Call:
The Special Meeting of the Fontana City Council was held in the Heritage Neighborhood Center, 7350 Liberty Parkway , Fontana, CA 92336 , on Thursday , February 1, 202 4. Mayor Warren called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m.
ROLL CALL:
PRESENT: Mayor Warren, Mayor Pro Tem Garcia, Council Members Roberts, Sandoval and Cothran.
ABSENT: None
City Treasurer Janet Koehler-Brooks and City Clerk Germaine Key were also in attendance.
INVOCATION/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
A. Invocation/Pledge of Allegiance:
The invocation was given by Council Member Roberts, followed by the pledge of allegiance led by Council Member Sandoval.
PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS:
A. Public Communications:
There were no public communications received.
WORKSHOP:
A. City Council Workshop: Goal Setting (Executive Management Team to present).
The City’s Vision, Mission Goals and Objectives were discussed.
City Manager Matthew Ballantyne provided an overview of special projects over the next five years. Stated that an additional workshop would be scheduled so the Council could provide feedback.
RECESS:
Mayor Warren called for a recess at 2:28 P.M.
The meeting reconvened at 2:38 P.M. with all members present.
ADJOURNMENT:

Mayor Warren adjourned the meeting at 2:50 p.m. to the Regular City Council Meeting on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Grover W. Taylor Council Chambers located at 8353 Sierra Avenue, Fontana, California.
