RESOLUTION NO. 2024-____
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FONTANA AMENDING ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY SECTION 20-31 ENVIRONMENTALLY PREFERABLE PURCHASES AND PRACTICES POLICY IN ITS ENTIRETY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fontana has adopted Administrative Policies which detail the Rules and Regulations under which the City operates; and
WHEREAS, Administrative Policy Section 20 -31 Environmentally Preferable Purchases and Practices Policy sets thresholds for purchasing recycled content and environmentally preferred products whenever practicable in order to support recycling and to minimize environmental impacts; and
WHEREAS, the Administrative Policies are periodically updated to reflect organizational needs; and
WHEREAS, Administrative Policy Section 20 -31 Environmentally Preferable Purchases and Practices Policy requires a comprehensive update to better match the City’s environmental impact.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fontana does hereby amend Administrative Policy Section 20-31 Environmentally Preferable Purchases and Practices Policy in its entirety.
