RESOLUTION NO. 2024 -
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCI L OF THE CITY OF FONTANA,
CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING UPDATED SALARY TA BLE FOR THE FONTANA POLICE OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2024/2025.
WHEREAS, the City Council of t he City of Fontana has adopted the Personnel Rules and Regulations which incorporat e the City’s Classification and Compensation Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Classification and Compensation Plan is not a static plan and requires revisions to reflect organizational changes and needs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fontana’s existing labor agreement with the Fontana Police Officers’ Association incl udes a 3.0% base salary increase at the beginning of the pay period following July 1, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fontana, California, to adopt the updated Fontana Polic e Officers’ Association salary table, effective July 13, 2024 (Exhibit A).
