CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL:

The Special Meeting of the Fontana City Council was held in the Grover W. Taylor Council Chambers, 8353 Sierra Avenue, Fontana, CA 92335, on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
Mayor Pro Tem Garcia called the Special City Council Meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
PRESENT: Mayor Pro Tem Garcia, Council Members Cothran, Roberts and Sandoval.
City Treasurer Janet Koehler-Brooks was also present.
ABSENT: Mayor Warren and City Clerk Germaine Key
INVOCATION/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
A. Invocation/Pledge of Allegiance:
The invocation was given by Council Member Roberts, followed by the pledge of allegiance led by Council Member Sandoval.
SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS:
A. Special Presentations
Mayor Pro Tem Garcia and City Council recognized District 71 Fontana Little League Championship Teams from Fontana American Little League, Fontana Elks Little League, Southridge Little League, and Pony/Fontana Baseball Association.
Mayor Pro Tem Garcia and City Council also recognized the Foxtails Junior Roller Derby Division Title Championship Team.

Mayor Pro Tem Garcia adjourned the meeting at 7:36 p.m. to the Regular City Council Meeting on Tuesday, October 8th, at 2:00 p .m. in the Grover W. Taylor Council Chambers located at 8353 Sierra Avenue, Fontana, California.
