CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL:
A. 8:00 A.M. Call To Order/Roll Call:
The Special Meeting of the Fontana City Council was held in the Heritage Neighborhood Center, 7350 Liberty Parkway , Fontana, CA 9233 6, on Thursday , January 30, 202 5. Mayor Warren called the meeting to order at 8:37 a.m.
ROLL CALL:
PRESENT: Mayor Warren, Mayor Pro Tem Garcia, Council Members Roberts, and Cothran.
ABSENT: Council Member Sandoval (arrived at 9:45 a.m.)
City Treasurer Janet Koehler-Brooks and City Clerk Germaine Key were also in attendance.
INVOCATION/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
A. Invocation/Pledge of Allegiance:
The invocation was given by Council Member Roberts, followed by the pledge of allegiance led by Mayor Pro Tem Garcia.
PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS:
A. Public Communications:
There were no public communications received.
WORKSHOP:
A. City Council Workshop: Goal Setting (Executive Management Team to present).
The City’s Vision, Mission Goals and Objectives were discussed.
City Manager Matthew Ballantyne stated that the goals would be presented to the Council for adoption at a future meeting.
ADJOURNMENT:

Mayor Warren adjourned the meeting at 1:54 p.m. to the Regular City Council Meeting on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Grover W. Taylor Council Chambers located at 8353 Sierra Avenue, Fontana, California.
